The Wind Orchestra’s 2014 season continues this summer with the announcement of a Summer Concert at Peel Cathedral on Thursday 10th July 2014 commencing at 7:45pm.
The Concert will feature the première of a new piece entitled “Midwinter” by noted composer Clare Shore who will be travelling from Florida for the occasion and to experience the Island’s culture during Tynwald week. The concert is part of the Island of Culture celebrations and is supported by the Isle of Man Arts Council and the Orchestra is sponsored by Sure IOM.
As part of the Tynwald celebrations the Orchestra will also be performing on Tynwald Day 7th July in the afternoon in the open air on Tynwald Fairfield at St Johns(weather permitting).
