David Kilgallon names new Composition

The Isle of Man Wind Orchestra will perform the premiere of a new composition by David Kilgallon @Davekilgalllon at their Manx Music Concert of Saturday 17th March.

The composition for Violin and Wind Orchestra has been in rehearsal for many months but without a title know only as “David’s New Work”.

It has now been announced that the work will be entitled “Huitt Yn Geay” [Hut!…un Gear] which means the “Wind Grew Quiet”  which is both a beautiful Manx name and also an instruction to the Orchestra to allow the solo Violin played by David Kilgallon to be heard!
